Black Women in Color isn’t just about bringing women together—it’s about my life’s mission, one that’s deeply personal and rooted in purpose.
When I was little, I watched a family member struggle with mental health. I didn’t understand it at the time, but the experience left a lasting mark on me. It traumatized me in ways I couldn’t articulate back then, but as I got older, it sparked something deep within—a calling to create spaces where healing, wellness, and connection could thrive.
This isn’t just a membership. For me, it’s my life’s work. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I know that self-care and sisterhood aren’t just feel-good buzzwords—they’re scientifically proven to improve mental health and overall well-being. Community matters. Being seen, heard, and supported can transform lives, and that’s what Black Women in Color is all about.
BWIC is more than a community. It’s a safe haven, a movement, and a chance for women like you to reclaim your peace, your joy, and your power. This mission isn’t just something I do—it’s who I am.
When you join BWIC, you’re stepping into a space intentionally designed to uplift you. A space where self-care meets sisterhood, and science meets soul.
Let’s take this journey together
